One of my favorite parts of this work is meeting women in our community and helping them feel more confident in their clothes. At La Vestalia, we every look tells your story, and nothing makes me happier than creating spaces where women can learn, try new things, and feel supported. That’s why we hosted The Art of the Scarf workshop on a rooftop in Hollywood, CA, a simple, hands-on evening focused on curating confidence and connecting with women supporting women.
The idea behind the event was straightforward: a scarf is one of the most versatile pieces in a wardrobe, yet it’s often overlooked. With a few small adjustments, it can completely change the tone of an outfit. At La Vestalia, we help women define their style so they can own their moment, and this was the perfect setting to show how a single accessory can make getting dressed feel easier and more intentional.
The rooftop at The Godfrey Hollywood gave us a relaxed, open space where everyone could settle in, enjoy a glass of champagne, and explore their personal style. There was no pressure and nothing overly staged, just women coming together, sharing ideas, and enjoying a lovely California evening. It felt very aligned with who we are: a community built on authenticity, care, and building confidence, one outfit at a time.
Simple Techniques That Make a Real Difference
During the workshop, I showed a few practical styling techniques using clean knots that sit well, soft drapes that add shape, and ways to use a scarf as a belt or layer to pull an outfit together. These aren’t tricks; they’re thoughtful choices that help you feel more put-together without adding extra effort. When the details are right, we feel more comfortable.
What I loved most was seeing the shift around the room. A small fold, a new way of tying, or a fresh approach to a familiar piece, and suddenly the outfit shifted. That’s what personal style should feel like: where every look tells your story.

The real magic came from the women who attended. They helped one another try new ideas, swapped pieces, and shared their own experiences with style. Moments like that reminds me that we're all just women, standing in front of the mirror, wanting to look our best.
We enjoyed appetizers, cocktails and the most incredible sunset, and left the rooftop feeling grateful, energized, and excited to style our own scarves. At La Vestalia, our work is about more than clothes. It’s about community, confidence, and creating experiences that feel carefully curated and seamlessly delivered.
